NotifyMe Buyers
When a fan can't find a ticket, they leave their hand up instead of walking away — and get a ping the moment a matching one appears.
What it does#
NotifyMe Buyers is the buyer-side "let me know when there's a ticket" feature. When a fan can't find availability for an event or category, instead of giving up they can raise their hand — and get notified the moment a listing matching what they're after appears.
The problem it solves#
For a hot or sold-out event, an interested buyer who searches at the wrong moment — when there's simply nothing listed — is usually gone for good, often off to some informal channel. NotifyMe Buyers keeps that fan in the loop by registering their interest, so a quiet moment of no supply doesn't turn into a lost buyer.
Buyers vs. Sellers#
It's easy to mix up the two NotifyMe features, so here's the distinction:
- NotifyMe Buyers (the demand side). Captures the interest of people who want to buy but haven't found supply yet. It's a demand signal.
- NotifyMe Sellers (the supply side). Takes that demand signal and nudges people who already hold tickets that there's a chance to sell. It's a supply activation.
The loop it feeds#
NotifyMe Buyers sign-ups are one of the aggregated demand signals — alongside abandoned carts, virtual queues, and wishlists — that feed NotifyMe Sellers. The better demand gets captured on the buyer side, the sharper the supply activation on the seller side.
