Deal Score gives every listing a value rating from 1 to 10 based on how it compares to the rest of the market in its same zone. The math is deliberately tilted to be fair: it doesn't punish events with little supply, and only hands out low scores in markets that are genuinely crowded and expensive.
01

Why it exists#

When a fan lands on a resale listing, the natural question is: "Is this a good price, or am I overpaying?" Without a reference point, that's hard to answer — and uncertainty makes people hesitate or walk away. Deal Score answers it for them in one number, so a fair price is obvious and a buyer doesn't have to comparison-shop across the whole event to feel safe.

02

How it works#

For each listing, menta calculates a value score from 1 to 10 by comparing it to the current market for its same zone. The calculation is built to be fair to sellers too: it won't drag down scores just because an event has few listings, and it reserves the low scores for markets that are truly dense and pricey. Price, location, view, and other factors all feed into it.

03

Where the buyer sees it#

The score surfaces in three spots along the purchase flow, each tuned so the buyer sees the most useful signal at the right moment:

  • A tag on the listing — each offer in the event listing carries a tag with its score (shown on offers scoring 5 or higher).
  • A tag in the summary — the same tag appears in the offer summary (shown for every score).
  • A banner in the offer — a short note inside the offer explaining why it's a good pick (shown on offers scoring 5 or higher).

The tags are color- and word-coded along a scale — from "Premium price" at the low end to "Amazing" at the top. The banner spells it out in plain terms, for example that the ticket sits among the best listings for the event on price, location, and view.
